CUCINA Higala opened its doors to residents and visitors in Cagayan de Oro City with enticing dishes inspired by our Filipino heritage. The restaurant’s name evoke Filipino tradition and culture. “Cucina” is Spanish for kitchen while “Higala” is Visayan for friends as Cagayan de Oro is dubbed as the “City of Golden Friendship.” Cucina Higala has been serving 25 heritage dishes, there is Camiguin’s Surol, Lanao Del Norte’s Beef Rendang, and Sinuglaw and Humba, a Kagay-anon’s favorite. The restaurant has a 200-seating capacity and can also accommodate special events. It is a great venue for business meetings, family gatherings and even dinner dates. Its name also reflects the showcasing of more Filipino cuisine. It is envisioned to be the ultimate food destination in Northern Mindanao. Cucina Higala is now looking for candidate for the following position:
DINING MANAGER
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Beverage Services or any business related course
- At least 2 yrs of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Full knowledge and understanding of food service, food safety and sanitation.
- With excellent interpersonal skills for diplomatically handling staff and customers;
- Good in oral and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze problems and arriving at decisions which are factual, sound and reasonable.
- Has a strong customer service skills. Has the ability to handle customer complaint properly and professionally.
- Ability to communicate the company’s goals to others, and can generate the support and cooperation
- Has the ability to cope under pressure since restaurant management can be challenging
- Has team-working skills to be able to lead a team and be a part of it;
